Recently, the Ministry of Education announced the approval results for Sino-foreign cooperative education programs. The undergraduate program in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation, jointly offered by Jiaxing University and the University of Beira Interior (Portugal), has been officially approved. This marks the first undergraduate-level Sino-foreign cooperative education program approved for Jiaxing University, representing a milestone in the university's efforts to promote international education and develop a high-level institution.  

Upon approval, the program will be included in the national regular higher education enrollment plan. It adopts a "3+1" training model, with an annual enrollment of 120 students. During their undergraduate studies, students will spend one year studying abroad. Upon meeting the relevant academic requirements, students will receive a bachelor's degree certificate and academic qualification certificate from Jiaxing University, as well as a bachelor's degree certificate from the partner institution, the University of Beira Interior.
