According to the latest statistical data of Essential Science Indicators (ESI) released by Clarivate (Web of Science), the research field of chemistry discipline at JXU ranks top 1% among ESI internationally for the first time, which has become a historic breakthrough in the discipline construction of our university. Besides, JXU is listed in top 1% among ESI of the other universities for the first time.

It has been reported that ESI indicators are divided into 22 subject areas, which are widely recognized worldwide. Discipline ranking in the top 1% of ESI is generally regarded as an international high-level discipline. It is also an important indicator to measure the core competitiveness of a university.
