MCM/ICM Contest’s results were announced recently. Eight teams from JXU won prizes at the MCM/ICM contest in 2021. One team from College of Data Science was designated as Finalist, two teams won the Meritorious Winner, one team won the Honorable Mention, and another four teams were awarded as Successful Participants. 

Sponsored by COMAP (the Consortium for Mathematics and Its Applications), MCM/ICM contest, as the most influential mathematical contest in the world, is the only international mathematical contest in mathematical modeling. 26,112 teams from 22 countries and regions such as China, the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Singapore and so on participated in the contest.
