On the afternoon of February 14th, Zhang Qi, Vice President of JXU, visited the international students’ apartment and extended Chinese New Year blessings to those who stayed on campus during the Spring Festival.

Zhang Qi had a cordial conversation with the international students and cared them about their life and study in JXU. After that, she participated in the activity named "Writing Spring Festival Couplets and Sending Blessings to Each Other" with international students, by which the international students experienced the charm of Chinese calligraphy.

This year, due to epidemic prevention, most of the international students chose to stay on campus during winter vacation. Although they could not go back to their countries to reunite with their families, the care and concern from the university brought kindness to them and made them feel warm as well.

In order to let the international students to celebrate a pleasant and harmonious Chinese New Year just as the local people did, JXU also had held a series of colorful activities from February 9th to 14th, such as visiting the international students, sharing delicious food with them as well as giving new year gifts to them. The international students expressed their gratitude to the university for making such kind and thoughtful arrangements. They said they had the chance to experience Chinese traditional culture through this festival at close range and felt full of joy regardless of long distances from home.
