On the morning of April 19, the third “APTECH Cup” China-Japan-Korea international exchange exhibition as well as 2018 cultural show of College of Design, Jiaxing University was opened at Jiaxing Cultural Center. The opening ceremony was attended by Dongsheng Liu,Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Jiaxing People’s Congress, Song’en Sheng, the President of Jiaxing University, Jianguo Fu, vice President of APTECH Group and the general manager of Jiaxing APTECH Investment and Development Co., Ltd., Kazuhiro Uzawa, Vice President of University of East Asia, Japan, Hwaseon Kang,Dean of Design College of Beakseok University, Korea.  

President Song-en Sheng said in his speech that university-enterprise cooperation was an important way to cultivate applied talents. Jiaxing University has always attached great importance to university-enterprise cooperation and found a new way of talents cultivation by promoting the deep integration of production and education. The exhibition fully embodies the achievements of the College of Design, who persists in the talents cultivation mode through cooperation between university and enterprise and the integration of production and education. It also shows the innovative consciousness and practical ability of students majoring in design. In the future, Jiaxing University will set up more platforms between university and enterprise to make a greater contribution to the local economy and social development.

Jian-guo Fu pointed out that the university-enterprise cooperation is not only an important way to cultivate applied talents for an university, but a significant method of talents accumulation and value realization for an enterprise. Both sides can achieve complementary advantages, resource sharing, mutual benefit and win. He hoped that both sides can make deeper cooperation in such aspects as fashion industry brands, talents cultivation platform and innovation and entrepreneurship of college students.

It was reported that there were 116 works in this exhibition, among which 55 are from Jiaxing University,China, 46 are from Beakseok University, Korea and 15 are from University of East Asia, Japan. On the day of opening ceremony, a series of lectures were given by experts from above three universities. The famous professors made cultural and artistic exchanges with the teachers and students of our university. In the evening, a dynamic performance was held by the College of Design, Jiaxing University with 35 series of nearly 175 graduate works.

On April 20, President Song’en Sheng met the delegation of the university of East Asia. Both sides made a further discussion on mutual exchange and cooperation. On the same day, the delegation led by Hwaseon Kang was hosted by Hengxin Lu,dean of College of Design and other officers and teachers representatives. An symposium was held to discuss students exchanges and teachers visit etc. After the symposium, the faculty and students from College of Design accompanied the delegations to tour around College of Design.
