On the morning of Apr.20, Mr. Soeren Omieczynski, the head of Germany-China project at Hochschule  für Technik Wirtschaft und Kultur Leipzig (HTWK Leipzig), visited our university with one of his colleague. They were hosted by professor Defa Sun, vice dean of College of Civil Engineering, Hui Wang, vice party secretary of College of Civil Engineering, professor Jingyu Chen, professor Minying Shi, dean of Institute of International Education, Fenghua He, the project leader. Both sides carried on a thorough discussion on the trend and the extension of the project. Later, an interview was given to the 4 students who would go to Germany in October for the second year of study and they all passed the interview.

On the afternoon, a seminar was held. The visitors made a brief introduction on HTWK Leipzig and Germany-China project to the students majoring in Structural Engineering. Finally, Chenyi Wang, who was a student of our university and went to HTWK Leipzig as the first group, talked about his past experience when he studied in Germany and answered queries from the students so that they have better understanding.
