On the morning of May 8, a delegation of eight people from the city of Bunbury, Australia visited our university. Vice President Junyun Hu met the delegation and both sides held talks on mutual cooperation.
Junyun Hu extended his welcome to the delegation's visit on behalf of all faculty and students of Jiaxing University. He made an introduction on the basic information and discipline settings of our university. He said that there was a 12 years cooperative relationship between Jiaxing University and Edith Cowan University (ECU) South West Campus, both sides had established deep friendship and he hoped that both sides could have a closer cooperation in the future.
Mr. Gary Brennan, the mayor of Bunbury,showed his appreciation for our warm reception and he made a brief introduction on the city of Bunbury. Ms. Lynette Farrell, dean of ECU South West Campus, hoped to have deeper cooperation with our university.
The delegation also visited the ICT lab of College of Mathematical,Physical and Information Engineering and Enterprise-Education Laboratory of the College of Design, and spoke highly of applied talents cultivation of our university.
