On March 10, the project of Sino-Italian（Jiaxing） International Cooperation Demonstration Zone was launched in Jiaxing, and agreements of the first 14 Sino-Italian international cooperation projects were officially signed. Zhang Qi, vice president of JXU, attended the signing ceremony and completed signing the memorandum of understanding on Cooperative Education of Sino-Italian College of Design” and framework agreement on the joint construction of International Language Training Center via video conference.

According to the MOU, Jiaxing University will cooperate with Accademia Di Belle Arti Legalmente Riconosciuta Di Siracusa "Rosario Gagliardi" in fashion design, visual communication design and other majors. As the framework agreement indicates, Jiaxing University will jointly establish an “International Language Training Center” with Michelangelo Italian Language and Culture School to have systematic language teaching. Meanwhile, CELI (The Italian Language Proficiency Test) test center will be set up in Jiaxing.
