Recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Education announced the list of National and Provincial First-class Undergraduate Majors in 2020. Clinical Medicine and Accounting of JXU were ranked among them. Mathematics and Applied Mathematics, Electronic Information Engineering and Nursing were selected into the construction plans of Provincial First-class Undergraduate Majors.

Major construction is a key task in the construction of university’s first-class undergraduate education. In recent years, JXU has been putting forth effort to facilitate major comprehensive reform and promote innovation of talent training mode. At the same time, JXU is dedicated to improving the level of major construction and the quality of personnel training. Up to now, JXU has been approved 2 national-level and 13 provincial-level first-class undergraduate professional construction sites.
