From Shanghai to Jiaxing

1. Shanghai Pudong International Airport

Once at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, you have several transportation options :

  

Option One:

Airport-shuttle bus service is avaliable from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Jiaxing Bus Station(a new bus station in the South of Jiaxing). The last bus leaving for Jiaxing is at 6:00 p.m.. The fee is RMB60/USD10 per person. It takes approximately 90 minutes.

 

Once at the Jiaxing Bus Station, you can take a taxi(approx. RMB20/USD3) or bus No.19(RMB2/USD0.3) to JXU!

 

Option Two:

First, take a subway(Line 2) from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (approx.RMB5/USD1 and 45 mins); once at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, where is ajacent to Shanghai Hongqiao Railway Station, you can take a Metro(a high-speed train) to South Jiaxing Station. The fee for the 1st class costs RMB63(approx.USD10) per person, for the 2nd class, RMB39(approx.USD5) per person. It takes no more than 28 minutes to arrive at South Jiaxing Station.

 

Once at the South Jiaxing Station, you can take a taxi(approx. RMB20/USD3) or bus No.97(RMB2/USD0.3) to JXU!

 

Option Three:

First, take a subway(Line 2) from Shanghai Pudong International Airport to the Stop of People's Square and then transfer to another subway (Line 1) to the Stop of South Shanghai Railway Station(approx.RMB5/USD1 and 90 mins); once at the South Shanghai Railway Station, you can take a train to Jiaxing Railway Station. The fee is only RMB12.5/USD2 per person and it takes about one hour to arrive at Jiaxing.

 

Once at the Jiaxing Railway Station, you can take a taxi(approx. RMB20/USD3) or bus No.1(RMB2/USD0.3) to JXU!

 

Option  Four:

If you arrive too late, neither bus nor train service is available, highly recommend you take a taxi directly to JXU. The fee is approximately RMB400 or USD70 and it takes about 100 minutes to get to JXU!

 

2. Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport

 

Once arriving at Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport, you can take a Metro directly from the Hongqiao Railway Station to South Jiaxing Station and it takes no more than 28 minutes.

 

Once at the South Jiaxing Station, you can take a taxi(approx. RMB20/USD3) or bus No.97(RMB2/USD0.3) to JXU!

 

PLEASE NOTE:

Hongqiao Railway Station is adjacent to Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport. You do not need to go outside. Just follow the signs with arrows and walk for ten minutes or so. The Metro ticket costs RMB63 for the 1st class and RMB39 for the 2nd class respectively. Automatic ticket vendors are installed there, but they are stupid only accepting Chinese I.D., so you holding foreign passports are suggested to use cash to get the ticket at the booking office.

 

 

From Hangzhou to Jiaxing

 

Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport

 

Once at Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport, you can have the following options:

 

Option One:

Airport-shuttle bus service is available from the airport to Jiaxing Bus Station(a new bus station in the South of Jiaxing).

 

Once at the Jiaxing Bus Station, you can take a taxi(approx. RMB20/USD3) or bus No.19(RMB2/USD0.3) to JXU!

 

Option Two:

If you arrive too late, no bus service is available, highly recommend you take a taxi directly to JXU. The fee is approximately RMB400/USD70 and it takes about 100 minutes.
